Jammu, Mar 5: JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School on Tuesday celebrated its annual sports day in the school premises.
According to press release, sports officer Rajan Sharma was the Chief Guest and Chotu Lal, fencing coach was the Guest of honour on the occasion accompanied by Mohammad Ayub Sheikh, the Chairman, Rajni Gupta and Sanjeev Gupta.
Speaking on the occasion, Geeta Dixit, Vice Principal of school presented the welcome address and highlighted the importance of sports in day to day life. During the sports meet, various competitions were organized including crawling race, Animal Hunt, Color Beading in which students participated with zeal and enthusiasm .Shelling peas and Chocolate Race etc added to the excitement and thrill of the event. Colorful dance performances by the students lifted the mood of the event and made everyone cheer. The medals were distributed among the students for the excellent performance in various events of the sports. |
