Jammu, Mar 9: MIER College of Education organized a two days Course Coordinators Meet at its college campus in collaboration with the Rehabilitation council of India (RCI), New Delhi and its North Zonal Coordination Committee.
Major General Ian Cardozo, Chairman RCI was the Chief Guest on the occasion and HafizaMuzaffar, State Level Executive Director, Rehabilitation Council, Department of Social Welfare, J&K was the guest of honour. Other prominent persons present on the occasion were Dr. Subodh Kumar,Dy. Director (Academic), RCI, Mrs. Sara Johnson, Executive Director NZC, RCI, Ludhiana, SandeepTambe, Asst. Director, RCI,Dr. Arun K.Gupta, Chairman and Dr. Renu Gupta, Director, MIER group of Institutions.
The meet was attended by more than 60 course coordinators from Northern and Central states of India like Madhya Pradesh,Uttar Pradesh,Uttrakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarhand J&K. The workshop opened with the lighting of the lamp of hope for the disabled by the Chief Guest.
The students of MIER College of Education presented a group song befitting the occasion which was highly appreciated by the august gathering.
Dr. Arun K. Gupta, Chairman, MIER Group of Institutions formally welcomed the chief guest Major General Ian Cardoza, other dignitaries and the participants. He highly appreciated the distinguished Chief Guest and highlighted his contributions as one of the most decorated soldier, scholar and statesman of the country.
During the Course Coordinators meet, six technical sessions on differentthemes i.e. Inspection Report format for NewProgrammes,Inspection Report format for OngoingProgrammes, Academic Monitoring & Analysis System (AMAS), Assignment on Inspection format by the Course Coordinators and Discussion on any other relevant issues were held by the experts from the Rehabilitation Council of India.The workshop ended with the distribution of certificates to the participants. |
