| Nightingale-a pre school celebrates Annual day | | |  ET Plus Report
Jammu, Mar 9: Nightingale-a pre school, organized today its joint Annual Day function of Channi Himmat and Rehari Chungi branches at Green Field Park in Channi .
BJP State President Jugal Kishore Sharma was the Chief Guest while Nightingale Director & BJP Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency Incharge Yudhvir Sethi was the Guest of Honour.
The small children of both the branches, dressed up in colourful dresses presented a number of plays and sports items. The games included- match me the same, hurdles race, dress me up, bouncing with the the ball , squeeze spider and many more.
A totally different and newly designed MBBS Show (Miyaan Biwi Bachchon Sang) received wide appreciation as it involved the child, their mother and father to play a particular game.
The Chief Guest distributed rosettes among the winning children and appreciated the efforts of the school staff for preparing the so small children to perform before the open audience while such plays which even a young person feels difficult to display successfully. He said that these small kids are the future of the nation and hence it is very important on part of both-the teachers and parents to educate them and inculcate patriotic values so that they fulfil the dreams of parents as well as the countrymen.
Yudhvir Sethi said that the education today has taken new dimensions and hence it is the need of the time that the young children are made to enter the learning institutions as soon as they start walking on their own and are in a position to speak. Priya Sethi, who presented the details of Nightingale's day to day activities and importance of holding regular parents-teachers meet, said that the staff in both the branches has been treating the small children as growing buds and take every precaution while introducing any new thing among their soft minds.
Earlier in the morning, the function started with the march past and later in the evening culminated with singing of national anthem.
Channi Himmat Branch Principal Priyanka Kapoor and Rehari Branch Co-ordinator Isha Mahajan anchored the proceedings of the day long function while, BJP State Secretary Munish Sharma, Media Secretary Balbir Ram Rattan, BJYM State President Ravinder Raina, Chanchal Sethi, Vivek Suri, Balwan Singh and Priya Jral also graced the occasion alongwith hundreds of parents. |
