et plus report Jammu, Mar 9: Indian Council for Enviro-Legal Action (ICELA) has hailded over the appointment of five judges to J&K High Court in one go and urged for filling up the remaining two vacancies at the earliest. According to press release, chairing a meeting of ICELA functionaries here today, the Convenor ICELA, Ashok Sharma has thanked the President of India, the Prime Minister, the Chief Justice of India, Union Law Ministry, Governor and the State Government for appointment of five judges. He demanded that the strength of judges of the J&K high court be raised to 25 to facilitate the speedy justice to the justice seekers and clearing pendency of cases. ICELA also congratulated newly appointed Judges of the state High court.
