et plus report Rajouri, Mar 9: Continuing its benevolent ways, Rotary Club Rajouri has once again come forward to save life of a minor child from a far flung area of District Rajouri, when the club adopted Kartik Kumar, 4 , for open heart surgery in AIIMS Delhi by bearing all the expenses of his treatment. The minor child Kartik Kumar son of Mabohar Lal resident of Androlla is suffering from cardiac ailment since birth and his family is not in a position to bear expenses of his surgery. Getting to know about the Rotary's project "Gift of Life", the parents of the child approached Lokesh Bakshi President Rotary club Rajouri who immediately responded and adopted the child for open heart surgery thus giving new life to the minor. Lokesh while talking to media persons here in Rajouri on Saturday said that Rotary under its project Gift of life sends minor child with heart ailment for surgey bearing all the expenses and Kartik is being sent by Rotary Club Rajouri for the same in AIIMS Delhi. While expressing his indebtedness towards Rotary Manohar Lal father of Kartik told media persons that he was unable to bear the expenses of surgery for his child and was grateful to the Rotary club for this noble gesture. Dullari, mother of little Kartik was in tears expressing gratitude towards Rotary Club Rajouri for sending her child for heart surgery. Prominent among those who were present in the send off ceremony include KK Langar, Rakesh Gupta, Sanjay Puri, Amardeep Singh, Saboor Malik, Tanveer Choudhary, Sadik Khan and others.
