et plus report Rajouri, Mar 9: Rajouri police have detained six persons including five school students of Government High School Dalogra for questing in border district Rajouri for their alleged involvement in stealing school furniture and stationery items today. Sources said that police station Rajouri received a complaint about theft in High School, Dalogra in the outskirts of the border district following which police sent a team to school for verifying the facts. Sources said that police grilled five students identified as Shahnavaz, Mohammed Yasir and Sarbjeet Singh of 9th standard, Javed Ahmed of 7th standard and Shafqat Hussain of sixth class on whom school authorities expressed suspicion. Sources also said after strict questioning boys broke-out in front of police and confessed their involvement in conspiracy plotted by Parveez Ahmed Khan, owner of Khan General Store at Dalogra, who according to students provoked them to steal school items including school stationery. Police has also recovered three ceiling fans and school stationery items of Dalogra High School, however police has yet to lodge any case in this regard. Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Rajouri-Poonch Range Danish Rana said, “We are still investigating the matter and police have not arrested anyone”. |
