According to press release, Social reformer and Women Activist Prof. Rita Jatindra, Associate Professor IMPA Dr. Sunita Zalpuri, Retd Principal Parade College for Women, Jammu, Prof Kiran Bakshi, SSP Kot Bhalwal Jail, Jammu Rajni Sehgal and Principal Govt. Polytechnic, Jammu Er. Neetu Maini spoke on the issues related to women empowerment. Speaking on the occasion Rajni Seghal impressed upon the girls to prove their identity. She strongly opposed gender discrimination and harassment of women. Er. Neetu Maini said that women have achieved success in every field and it is the responsibility of every citizen to contribute significantly towards their empowerment, stressing on providing education to girl child she said that education is a vital tool to ensure women empowerment. Students also expressed their views on the issues related to women empowerment. |
