JNV students visit old age home

Jammu, Mar 9: Help Age India (HAI) Jammu today organized an interaction with the students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Nud, Samba and inmates of Old Age Home (OAH) Amphalla. According to press release, a group of 60 students led by their teacher, Rupali along with other teachers visited the OAH, Amphalla, where the students met the old aged and also spent some moments with them and performed cultural programme. The inmates also shared their experiences with the school students, especially shared their childhood days experiences with the girl students, which the students also enjoyed.
On the occasion the students have taken a pledge that they would fight for the cause of elders and work for the welfare of elders. Help Age India's senior executive, Neeru Khajuria and Dr. Mairaj also said that it is for the first time that Help Age India organize such an interaction programme and the main motto behind this only to aware the children. that how these old aged need the company. and support of their children in this age.
