ET Plus Report JAMMU, Mar 9: Apple Kids International Pre-School, Bantalab, here celebrated Maha Shivratri with fervor and gaiety by holding a colourful function at the school premises today. Young students were involved in cultural programme with focus on Shiv Shakti Pooja. The celebrations commenced with Shiv Stuti which was followed by a fancy dress competition by the little kids of class nursery. The function concluded with Shiv Aradhana. Dr. Agnishekhar, a renowned social activist and writer was chief guest while Secretary North Zone of the Indian Moun-taineering Foundation, New Delhi, Ram Khajuria was guest of honour. Speaking to the gathering Dr. Agnishekhar appreciated the efforts of the school in providing quality education and molding the kids into all round characters at this young age. He further added that the main motto of every school should be to prepare the students to serve the Nation. Later, chief guest distributed prizes among the achievers in various activities conducted by the school during the year. In her address, Principal of the School, Puja Sharma appreciated the spirit of participants and blessed the students.
