| Pak passed resolution to dodge its role in terrorist activities | | | ET Plus Report Jammu, Mar 16: Pakistan deliberately passed a resolution denouncing hanging of Afzal Guru, convicted and hanged for attack on Parliament after its role in the recent fidayeen attack in Kashmir became visible. The arrested terrorists were given training in POK in Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorists camps. The recee for striking place was done by over ground workers of Hizbul Mujahideen. The police had arrested Bashir Ahmad alias Harun, who worked as guide of terrorists. Bashir was camping in the city for some time. The main terrorist arrested Abu Tallah is a resident of Chak Mulanah in Pakistan. He has two sisters and a brother. He decided to undertake terrorist attack as ISI offered him huge money to carry out this attack. It was only after he was provided money that he entered into the terrorist camp of LeT and had undertaken training for six months. He also had meeting with son-in-law of dreaded terrorist Hafiz Sayeed, with whom terrorist-turned-separatist Yasin Malik shared a dias. Tallah was trained by dreaded terrorist Furkan, who was active in Kashmir till 2010 and had played an active role for disturbances of 2010 which resulted in death of more than 100 people. The arrested guide Bashir had also made a number of trips to PoK and his relative is settled in Kashmir since 1994. A former terrorist, he turned into over ground worker after being released from the jail. The attack was planned to take 'avenge' of the execution of Afzal Guru. The terrorists were crossed from Handwara and then reached Tanmarg. Before executing attack, the terrorist had meeting with Bashir and his associate on Mar 11 in Srinagar. A total of five terrorists has crossed over to Kashmir but two went back after an encounter with Army. However, police still believes that a total of 11 terrorists had crossed over to Kashmir. The sequence of events clearly reflects that Pakistan had carefully planned this attack as Afzal Guru was trained by it and his execution had put it in a dock. So to cover up its role and shift the focus from its activities, a resolution seeking mortal remains of Guru was passed. |
