Jammu, Mar 16: CPI-M MLA MY Tarigami today snubbed DyCM and Minister incharge School Education for his reply in the State Legislative Assembly in response to a question of Chaman Lal Gupta.
Tara Chand, while responding to the question regarding arbitrary hikes in fees by private schools had said that he had figures with regards to Jammu province only since the questions pertained to it. "I have figures with regards to Jammu only" said Tara, but his response infuriated Tarigami. "They want to divide this State like BJP. This is not acceptable," said Tarigami. "I have a right to know about the entire State, does Jammu not belong to me?," he questioned adding, "mechanism needed to be evolved to check that private schools did not hike fees arbitrarily and paid salaries to their staff transparently". |
