JAMMU, Mar 16: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Jam-mu organized one-day meeting of coordinators and programme In-charges of all the learner study centers under Jammu Region. Coordinators and Progr-amme In-charges from various learner study centers spread across the Region including Doda, Kishtwar, Padder, Bhad-erwah, Bhalessa, Sur-ankote, Sunderbani, Rajo-uri, Mahore, Kharta, Katra, Kathua, Samba, Udhampur and Ramban participated in the meeting.
Regional Director (RD) K.K.Bhat, briefed the gathering about the various innovative schemes and initiatives that are being introduced into the system for the benefit of learners and the prospective learners in a larger perspective. He also informed about the constitution of Regional Centre Advisory Com-mittee which will assist the Regional Centre in fulfilling its mandate in general, and monitor the academic, administrative, financial and other functional asp-ects of the regional centre. Regional Director urged the Coordinators to ensure the maximum participation of IGNOU students to avail various facilities provided to the Centers like teleconferencing and broadband facility. Ashok Arora, Section Officer, Vikram Singh, Assistant Regional Director also spoke on the occasion while Rupesh Pandita from the Regional Centre presented a detailed demonstration about the regional and National website of IGNOU. |
