Kathua Aug 2: IPS Kidzee today along with the teachers and students celebrated Rainy Day, the children had brought raincoats and umbrellas from home much before and were early waiting to celebrate Rainy Day. According to press release, concept like creatures and insects that come out in rain, clothing that we use during rainy seasons, accessories that we use in rain were blended along with free play in rain. The children looked glamorous and cool in their colorful raincoats holding a rainbow of umbrellas. They sang and danced on various rhymes like Pitter Patter rain drops, I hear thunder, Rain Rain and enjoyed themselves. The day was celebrated with the reason that "All work and no play makes Jack a dumb boy" and this is what we follow at Kidzee. Principal Mili R. Sumbria encouraged the children ensuring their safety and told them the significance of rain, different types of seasons and how essential is rain for our environment. The event was organized by the co-ordinator Bharti Sharma along with the senior teachers Romy Kumar, Prabha, Monika and the entire teaching faculty. |
