Jammu, Aug 8: An employee of Power Development Department (PDD) today landed in State Vigilance Organization' net while he was demanding and accepting bribe here at Bari Brahmana. As per reports, based on the complaint, sleuths from vigilance department laid a trap and arrested the PDD employee namely Vishavdev Singh red handed for accepting bribe of Rs 1500/-.
"The alleged accused was designated as meter reader in the area and was demanding bribe from consumer, reports said further adding, "consumer of PDD have lodged complaint with the Vigilance Organization Jammu and accordingly trap was laid for the employee.' "He was caught red handed while accepting enticement in front of independent witnesses, reports added. |
