Jammu Aug 8: Van Mahotsava an annual event to make Nagbani School Campus and its surroundings green with an aim to enhance green cover on planet earth was inaugurated here today in school campus.
Principal MHAC School Nagbani Alok Betab, A.K Gupta, R.D Social Forestry Deptt. Jammu, A.A. Shah, DFO Social Forestry Deptt Jammu & C.L Pawa Range Officer Social Forestry Deptt Jammu and students planted sapling during a programme organized as a part of Van Mahostava activity.
"More than 200 saplings of Cassia, Gulmohar, Alsotia, Arjuna and Teak were planted by the student office bearers, teachers & various class groups of students under the banner Arya Yuva Samaj, J&K, spokesperson of school said.
School Management was quite appreciative of Social Forestry Deptt J&K for its contribution and assistance in providing sapling to the students |
