Jammu, Aug 25: Taekwondo Association organized 16th District Jammu Taekwondo Championship on 23rd & 24th Aug 2013 in Indoor Complex, MA Stadium Jammu under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo
Association Affiliated with Taekwondo Federation of India recognized by Jammu and Kashmir Olympics Association, India Olympics Association, Ministry of Youth affairs & Sports, Govt of India. Around 300 players/officials are participating in this championship and players from the whole Jammu district showcase their skills. The Chief Guest of the closing ceremony was Shabir Khan SDPO Bakshi Nagar. While speaking on the occasion congratulated all the participants/organizers and wished more achievements to this sport in future moreover he also assured to provide help to the Sports which uplift the caliber of an individual. On This Occasion Special Guest Sh.Amit Dutta , Sh.Rakesh Kumar and Sh.Romesh Chander Sharma .The technical team is being headed by Atul Pangotra (NIS) International Referee with his team of officials as Rajat Thakur & Adnan Beig, Mukta Gupta, Shaizia (National Referees), Rahul Singh Chib, Arvind Satti, Pankaj, Narinder Sharma, Nitish, Manoj, Rakesh, Goutam (all State Referees).The Championship was organized under the Chairmanship of Anuj. Sharma (Treasurer) District Jammu Taekwondo Association. Organizing Secretary of this championship is Sh. Gurinder Rakwal (Vice President- District Jammu Taekwondo Association). The closing ceremony hosted by Sumit Chauhan.
There Overall Winner Trophy was won by Vishal Academy of Taekwondo, First Runner up Rich Harvest School and Second runner up Rakwal Taekwondo Club. |
