ET REport Jammu, Aug 25: All Jammu and Kashmir ReT Teachers Forum on Sunday discussed their demands in a meeting organized under the chairmanship of state president Vinod Sharma. Speaking on the occasion, Vinod Sharma urged the state government and education department to speed up the regularization process of EVS converted ReT teachers and they are working more than ten years in the department and are still waiting their regularization. He also highlighted the problem being faced by female ReTs, regularized under Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyala (KGBV) scheme who had not paid their salary for last one and half years and are facing a lot of hardship. Sharma further said that government had released four months salary but in Doda, Poonch, Rajouri and Kathua district five months salaries was still pending. He urged government to release their pending salary. Sharma highlighted other demands, inclusion of five years ReT period for seniority benefits, old pension scheme in favour of ReTs engaged before 1-1-2010, absorption of ReT regularized under SSA, conversion of posts under state plan for smooth release of salary by sanctioning the posts and transfer policy for regularized ReT teachers and provision of SRO43 for ReTs and EVS. Lekh Raj Parihar, Gurcharan Singh, Rajinder Singh, Sham Sharma, Jaiveer Singh, Hans Raj Sharma and Mohan lal also spoke on the occasion. |
