| NSF demands construction of Bishnah college building | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 25: National Secular Forum (NSF) has flayed MLA Bishnah for not taking serious interests in the construction of the college building in Bishnah.
Addressing media persons here today, President NSF, Sukhdev Singh alleged that the concerned MLA and Higher Education Department are ignoring the construction of building for the college.
He also said that Government Degree College Bishnah is operating in Higher Secondary School which lacks proper infrastructure because of which students suffer in their studies.
Singh said that Bishnah Degree College has Arts stream only and the students are forced to join this stream. He strongly opposed the concerned MLA that is not working for the people of constituencies.
He said that all degree colleges of the Jammu provinces had Science/Commerce stream but Bishnah College was the only exception.
This was to the detriment of the student community of Bishnah.
General Secretary NSF Narinder Singh also demanded the construction of a permanent building for the college, at present housed in the premises of the Govt. Higher Secondary School (Boys). Apart from its negative impact, it disturbed normal functioning of the school also. |
