JKHRW expresses concern over Pak's ceasefire violations

JAMMU, Aug 25: Expressing grave concern over the continuous violation of ceasefire along Line of Control (LoC) in twin boarder districts of Poonch and Rajouri, the J&K Human Rights Watch (JKHRW) demanded from the Union government to take immediate necessary steps to bring the situation under control. State Chairman, JKHRW B L Kapoor in a statement issued here today said that violation of ceasefire on LoC has made the people terrorized residing nearby LoC.
Kapoor said that the people of twin border districts, Poonch and Rajouri have been facing proxy war for the last twenty five years and now the people in addition to previous hardships facing more and more troubles due to violations of ceasefire on LoC by the Pakistani troops.He appealed the general public to be united irrespective of caste and creed to face the enemies like in the past as the people of Rajouri and Poonch are the time tested people and they know how to face a situation.
