Block Congress Committee Bishnah discusses demands

Jammu, Aug 29: Block Congress Committee Bishnah today discussed demands under the chairmanship of Gulchain Singh Charak.
According to press release, Charak said that the people of border areas affected by heavy rain in which their kacha houses were collapsed and they became homeless. He urged authorities to provide immediately relief to those peoples who were affected by heavy rain.
He appealed concerned departments to expedite the process of assessment of losses occurred and temporary shelters should be provided to affected families at the earliest.
He disclosed that he has already taken up the case for the construction of bridge on Dhamala vented causeway with concerned authorities which have assured that they would pursue the same. He appealed the concerned authorities to immediately take up the work of bridge, which is strategically important.
Gambhir Dev Singh, Harshvardhan Sharma, Waryam Chand, Dr. OP Saini, Dr. Rao, Dr. Raghubir Singh, Madan Bhagat, Balwant Singh Saini and Krishan Saini also spoke on the occasion.
