Jammu, Aug 29: Expressing concerns over supply of waste and spoiled ration to people, Shri Ram Sena (SRS) has demanded action against erring officials besides demanding arrest of concerned CAPD (Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution) and FCI (Food Corporation of India) officials for supplying spoiled ration at their godowns. Addressing press conference here on Thursday, State President Shri Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan said that CAPD Department is playing with the health of the public by supplying unhygienic ration to the people of J and K. Mahajan also mentioned that Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Shantmanu during his raid at some godowns of the CAPD and FCI himself has found ration getting wasted. Demanding action against erring officials, he demanded Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, should dismiss all the store keepers who were present on the duty. Mahajan demanded immediate inquiry into the incident and immediate arrests of CAPD, FCI officials for supplying unhygienic ration to the people of the Jammu and Kashmir. |
