| Protest against malpractice at BDO office Kathua | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Aug 29: Demanding cancellation of FIR against Sarpanch Dalip Chand, a large number of residents of Chack Desa panchyat and local leaders of Kathua today held protest outside BDO Block office Kathua.
Addressing protestors, outside BDO Block office Kathua, Former-Deputy Chairmen of Kathua Municipal Council Kewal Sharma, S. Mahinder Singh and Jatinder Singh alleged that BDO office was framing false and baseless charges against the Sarpanch and demanded immediately cancellation of FIR.
They asserted that the Sarpanch was innocent and remained public representative twice from Chak Desa, such baseless charges against him will defame his reputation. They said it was an attack on the Panchayati Raj system which was considered as the fundamental unit of the democratic set up of the country and it must be respected and honored its violation and disregard will never be accepted at any cost.
They also alleged that the employees of BDO Blocks were commissioned agents and they force the contractors to get the commission for works and demanded that the administration should also conduct an investigation in this matter.
"These corrupt officials have framed conspiracy against the Dalip Chand to catch him their cruel net but the innocent Sarpanch will not be left remain into their criminal net and we will fight for the justice for Sarpanch and the fight will be continued till the Sarpanch is freed from the charges", they added. |
