| 'Rubru'-Freshers party organized at R M College | | | early times report
Jammu, Aug 29: Continuing to its calendar year celebrations, R.M College of Management & IT today organized a freshers party "Rubaru" to give opportunity to new-comers and senior students to get acquaintance.
A cultural programme was organized as the part of the activities in the college premises which was presided over by the Chairman of the college Rameshwar Mengi.
Principal P.K Dhar, Trustee of the college Reeta Mengi were also present on the occasion. The function started with lighting of traditional lamp and Krishan Vandana which was followed by the welcome address presented by Principal while HOD R.S Moza briefed about the programme.
Students presented a bouquet of the cultural items whereas the ramp walk stole the show.
A panel of judges adjudged Mandeep Kour and Nitin Sharma as Miss and Mr Fresher. In the end trustee of the college in her speech assured the students of all kind of help from the management. Earlier Chairman in his speech praised the senior students for their attitude of having such performances and introducing the new comers to the new environment.
He also declared prize of Rs. 5000/- for each topper. At last vote of thanks was presented by Miss Ankeeta Mantoo, student of the college. |
