| Masters posted in Chenab valley observe black day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sep 5: Masters of Jammu and Kathua posted in Chenab valley and Reasi observed Teacher's day as Black Day, by observing two two-hours protest dharna near Press Club Jammu under the leadership of Kapil Bakshi.
Addressing the protesters, Bakshi said that the masters have completed their tenure of stay and approached the concerned authorities and Education minister several times but they did not bother about the issue.
"The Education authorities adjusted newly promoted masters at their choice postings in home districts and also further busy in their modifications and forget to bring back masters who served in militancy infested for flung areas under communal tensions and security threats", he said.
Observing of Black Day has become our compulsion just to restore our honour and dignity. The leaders warned that the next course of action would be tough for the government if they would fail to deliver the justice to the teaching community. |
