JAMMU, Sept 5: Tehsil Thathri Development Front has appealed state government to reallocate panchayayts for creation of blocks.
According to press release, Kuldeep Kumar Rao has criticized the state government and district administration for its apathetic attitude towards the most backward Tehsil Thathri. "Why is Thathri Tehsil deprived of its right to form three blocks. When there are already three & more than three blocks in Bhadarwah, Doda and Kishtwar. After a long wait one more block in Tehsil Thathri has been sanctioned for Chiralla block, but Block Basnota a compact populated area comprising of 13 Panchyats which ought to have been created in between Kahara and Halaran has been neglected, when four Panchyats of Joura Kalan, Joura Khurd, Halaran and Jia of Basnota area have been included in Chiralla Block", he said.
They appealed state government to do needful for welfare of public of area.
