Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 5: Continuing its endevour to show case the world of aroma and flavor to Jammuites, the Fortune Inn Riviera, member of ITC's Hotel Group organized a 'Thai Food Festival' at "Oriental Pavilion", the Chinese & Thai Specialty Restaurant of the hotel. The said food festival would be starting from Sept 6 and is scheduled to culminate on September 15 and dinners would be served between 1930 to 2300 hrs, an official at Hotel stated. General Manager, Rakesh Dogra said, "It has been our endeavor to introduce Jammuites to all the Oriental cuisines at our newly launched Oriental restaurant, 'The Oriental Pavilion'. As part of this we had organized a Chinese Food Festival in the same venue in July." He said, "Now we at Fortune Hotel bring 'Thai cuisines' offering exciting range of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes, starters, main course and desserts at 'The Oriental Pavilion'. "The 10 day long festival is a exclusive treat of the glorious aroma and flavours from 'Thai cuisine' with an extensive range of traditional mouth watering dishes from the vibrant Thailand, he said. "We wish to bring out the best of this cuisine during the festival to give Jammu the real taste of Thailand. As space in this restaurant is limited, please make a reservation in advance" said Abhishek Verma, the Food & Beverage Manager. Meantime Executive Chef P.K.Biswas said "Complemented by fresh spices, the menu will feature dishes like Tom Yum Goong, Satay, Tempura, Thai Red Curry, Thai Green Curry, Papaya Salad, Phad Thai Noodles, Coconut Steamed Dumpling and many more exotic Thai dishes."
