JAMMU, Sept 9: Jammu and Kashmir Wrestling Association in a meeting held at Bajrangi Akhara, here today hailed the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for including the game in 2020 Tokyo (Japan) Olympics.
Chaired by Association president, Dushyant Sharma, the meeting was attended by Narinder Mahajan, Krishan Lal, Kuldeep Sharma, Satish Abrol, Vijay Phalwan, Ajay Vaid, Dheeraj Sharma, Swaran Lal, Raju Sharma, Kamal Sharma, Mohd Sadiq, Ashim Vaid, Om Parkash, Jai Bharat and Krishan Lal, a handout issued here today said.
State Powerlifting meet from Oct 1

JAMMU, Sept 9: Jammu and Kashmir Sports Powerlifting Association is organizing State Powerlifting and Open Bench-Press Championship at Royal Fitness Club, here from October 1 to October 3. A final decision in this regard was taken in a meeting of the Association held under the chairmanship of general secretary, Rajan Jain. The weighing of the participants shall take place on September 29 from 11am to 3 pm. |
