JAMMU, Sept 9: Organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), the annual inter-district divisional level boys wrestling (under-14 and under-17) and throwball (under-19) competitions held at twin venues of MA Stadium and Youth Hostel Nagrota, here today.
Around 85 young wrestlers from participating districts of Jammu Division contested for the top honours.
The competition was so tough that boys from districts other than Jammu made their presence felt thus won the medals in both the age categories.
The competition held under the overall supervision of Deputy Director DYSS, Jammu, Ved Parkash. Wrestling and throwball events were officiated by Rakesh Kumari, Poonam Kotwal, Kulbir Singh, Govind Singh, Basant Ram Dheeraj, Raman Kumar, Subash and Vishal.
