Jammu, Sept 9: Teli Welfare Association (TWA) today elected Mohd Rashid as president of association for a period of two years.
According to press release, Mohd Rashid president of association thanked all members of Teli Community for showing faith and confidence on him.
He assured Teli Biradari that he would try best to highlight the demands of community to the government and work hard to solve the problems.
Rashid appealed the government to implement of the Mandal commission report and judgment of the supreme court delivered in Indra Sawhney's case which provides 27% reservation to the members of OBC , hostel for the children of Gujjar and Bakerwal and allotment of land to the Teli community for common use.
