Jammu, Sept 9: Former General Secretary of Diploma Engineers Association SC Goswami today urged upon all diploma engineers to vote in support of Upinder Singh.
According to press release, a meeting of Diploma Engineers was held at PDD complex Gladni, Narwal in which more than 350 diploma engineers from PDD, Hydraulic, PWD, Mechanical wings participated. Addressing the gathering Er S C Goswami urged upon the cadre to vote and support Er Upinder Singh and his team to set free the cadre from the clutches of some self oriented leaders in the forth coming elections of DEA. Er Upinder Singh assured the cadre that no stone would be left unturned to achieve the long pending demands, if he and his team would be voted to power.
Er Rakesh Goswami from PDD stressed upon to resolve the issue of qualification bar in case of assistant Engineers, Assistant Executive Engineers and Ex Engineers.
Er Sheikh Sahir Rafiq laid stress that the recruitment should be made strictly as per SRO 180 i.e. 3 Diploma :1 degree. He also criticized the outgoing body for not resolving the issue pertaining to the new recruits'. |
