Reasi, Sept 9: Police claimed to have arrested two suspected in a gang rape case of a mentally retarded girl of district Reasi.
Police official statement said Incharge SP Reasi MS Chouhan, on receipt of information of regarding gang rape case of deaf and dumb and mentally retarded girl (17) resident of village Bhagga Tehsil and District Reasi, constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) comprising of Inspector Rakesh Akram, SHO P/S Reasi. The SIT immediately swung into action and started search of unidentified persons involved into this heinous crime. On specific clues the SIT apprehended two suspects namely identified Mohan Singh son of Sanjeet Singh and Qabla Singh son of Vakil Singh both residents of Aghar Jitto Tehsil and District Reasi. After interrogation suspects confessed their crime. |
