| Overloading of passenger vehicles unabated | | | Early Times Report
Samba, Sept 9: The increasing numbers of accident mainly due to the increasing rash driving and overloading has become a serious concern for the authorities concern.
With a voracity to earn more money, matadors operators in Samba district daily surpassing limits for overloading and speedy. A passenger from Samba town alleged that operators have started defying the traffic rules and safety to passenger as well as other vehicle playing on the road.
Even the traffic department seems to be adopted casual and has turned a blind eye towards the situation which vindicates nexus between these operators and the department he asked and keep it mum, he said.
Another passenger said most of the times matadors are seen in overloaded, especially in Samba to Sumb route, Samba to Mansar route and routes. Students face problems due to overloaded Matador and some can be hanging with the doors. Moreover auto playing village routes are also overloaded all times. Not only overloading but rash driving has also become a nussiance for public. Matadors from samba to Vijaypur route much move a high speed at college road that other vehicle give them way just out of fear for hit he added. Residents have appealed the commissioner transport Sanjeev Verma to give surprise visit in Samba. |
