| Efforts to promote heritage, plural culture of state | | | early times report Jammu, Sept 22: Ram Imagine Art, EHA Mobile World, Samsung Smart Cafe NIFD (National Institute of Fashion Design), Nirvana Academy a Cultural Club in association with Style Bhai Media Management (promoters of singer/designers, fine arts students) from New Delhi / Mumbai & now in J&K jointly organised the auditions for the talent hunt "Talaash-E-Hunnar" Season - 2 to promote the customs & singing talent to provide exposure of such high level to the youngsters in the field of entertainment. Semifinal is to be held on 25th September at NIFD at 11 am to 4pm. 100 of participants enthusiastically came for the auditions to showcase their talent in different fields. And since the auditions have been closed now, total 37 participants have been selected at semi final. Ram Kumar (president of Ram Imagine Arts) informed that he is obliged to see such a overwhelming response for the auditions. It was great to see such a level of talent in the city but due to lack of opportunities and genuine platform people are not being able to convert their talent into profession or even passion. Our aim is to provide platform to them, he said. The programme is being organized with an aim to channelize the energy of the youth to utilize it nationally & globally. Through this competition organizers are trying to promote heritage and plural cultural of the state.
