Bhaderwah, Sept 22: Bhaderwah Hospital Bacho Front (BHBF) today staged protest demonstration against concerned authorities for shifting Sub District Hospital (SDH) form the heart of town to village Dandi.
Speaking on the occasion, senior leader, BHBF, Choudhary Mohd Iqbal said that the hospital was shifted on verbal orders issued by Union Health Minister Gulam Nabi Azad. He alleged that the no formal order have been issued since.
"Hospital is shifted 4km away from the town which cause hurdles for local masses as maximum population reside in the town" he said and added "People will not visit 4 km away from their house for treatment"
He said that the doctors were also shifted from sub district hospital which may cause problems for local masses. "We want restoration of sub district hospital at old place with permanent staff" he said.
Others who were participated in the protest included Abdul Haq Zargar, Balwant Rai, Rashid Ahmed Choudhary, Anayat Sheikh, Desh Raj Kotwal, Kalyian Singh and Balwant Charak. |
