JAMMU, Sept 22: Two youth were drowned in Tawi river at Katalbatal near Nagrota, about 10 km from here this morning. Police sources identified them as Pawan Singh (23) son of Jai Singh and Sarved Singh (23) son of Chuni Lal, both residents of village Desa, Doda. According to police sources, the youth drowned while they were taking bath in the river. Sources said that they came with a group of four other youth. Police sources said that soon after having information about drowning, a police team was dispatched. The service of the army divers was also pressed. Their bodies were not fished out as rescue operation in this connection was in progress till late hours. |
