GCHSS pays tributes to Maharaja Hari Singh

Jammu, Sep 22: Global Convent Higher Secondary School (GCHSS) today paid rich tributes to Maharaja Hari Singh on his 118th Birth Anniversary.
All the teachers highlighted the life and works of Maharaja to the students to make them aware of the rich cultural heritage of J&K. Children were made aware of the importance of the day by Principal, J. Gandotra.
While giving the background of the Hari Singh, principal said Maharaja Hari Singh was born on 21st September 1895 at the palace of Amar Mahal, Jammu, the only surviving son of General Raja Sir Amar Singh (14 January 1864-26 March 1909), the younger son of General Maharajadhiraj Sri Sir Ranbir Singh and the brother of Lieutenant-General Maharajadhiraj Sri Sir Pratap Singh, the then Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir.
