Jammu, Sept 22: Bhagavaan Gopinathji Trust organised medical camp, chanting of Ved-mantras by the students of Ved Vidalaya, Ved Mandir, Amphalla at the ashram at Udaiwala, Bohri, Jammu. In an OPD held on the Sundays on regular basis at the Jammu Ashram, Dr. Sushil Razdan (DM), Neurologist, Dr. Rajni Razdan, Gynecologist, Dr. K.K. Pandita, Neurologist and Dr. Sarla Pandita, Gynecologist participated in the medical camp on request in which they had medical check-up of around 160 patients. Besides Dr. V.K. Razdan, Physician and Dr Anita Koul Ophthamologist attended the OPD as a routine and had a medical check-up of around 130 patients. Free medicines were provided to the patients in the camp. Such programmes are organized in the ashram premises on regular basis in keeping with the Bhagavaanji's message of "The service to man is the service to God". Bhagavaan Gopinathji Trust also organised a brief session of chanting of ved mantras at Jammu Ashram in which 20 students from Ved Vidyalaya, Ved Mandir, Amphalla, accompanied by a teacher joined by Capt. Purshotam and K. K. Mengi participated. The session continued for half an hour. The atmosphere at the ashram premises got spiritually charged and every one experienced bliss and joy in the end. This was done with a view to inculcating spiritual and moral values in the youth to strengthen our spiritual heritage. The students, doctors and other devotees were served prasad. |
