9/22/2013 10:57:19 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Sept 22 : In view of "cosmetic approach" adopted by the government towards the demands of the employees, the leadership of State Government Employees Joint Action Committee (SGEJAC) visited offices of different government departments to mobilize support for the protest demonstration to be held September 24 at Press Club Jammu. The SGEJAC leaders Sushil Sudan, Subhash Verma, Prem Bawa, Suresh Sharma, K.C Dubey and Yash Pal Mangotra received overwhelming response to the campaign.
Addressing a press conference later, the SGEJAC leaders announced that a similar protest demonstration will be held at Srinagar on September 26 at Partap Park Srinagar under the leadership of Aijaz Khan. They said that it is unfortunate that government instead of inviting all the trade union leaders for talks has chosen to invite selected employees' leaders.Such type of tactics to hold talks with selected persons will not solve the grievances of the employees, the leaders added. They warned the government of wise enough and call all stake holders or announce unilateral relief on the demands.
