| 2PoK visitors suffer heart strokes, 1 dies in Rajouri | | | early times report Jammu, Oct 13: One of the visitors from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (POK) died due to cardiac arrest while another admitted at GMC&H Jammu after they suffered severe heart attacks in Rajouri and Poonch districts. An 80 years old Mohd Jamil resident of Mirpur had crossed the border to meet his brother at village Sadda in Kandi area in Rajouriu district while another came to meet his relatives in Mendhar tehsil in Poonch district. Mohd Jameel had came to meet his brother Faqir Mohd at village Sadda (Kandi) under the jurisdiction of Kotranka police station.He crossed the LoC from Chakan-da-Bagh ctoss Loc point on October ,7 under permit No55799 for 23 days. At about 7 am Mohd Jameel died due to sudden cardiac arrest. Police was informed about the death of the POK national and after legal formalities Kotranka police brought the body to the district hospital at Rajouri for postmortem. Police sources said that on Monday, the day fixed for visitors crossing at Chakan-da-Bagh in Poonch district, the body will be handed over to the POK authorities for further dispatch to Mirpur. Another 75 years old POK visitor Mohd Bashir who crossed the LoC on September, 16 to visit the house of Mohd Nazir at village Jagal in Mendher tehsil was admitted in a hospital at Jammu. Police said that Mohd Bashir suffered a heart stroke on October, 8 and was immediately brought to hospital at Mendher. After initial treatment the doctors referred him to government medical college hospital at Jammu. |
