| Two attempt suicide, one killed | | | early times report
Kishtwar, Oct 13: A teenage girl identified by the police sources as Shahida Banoo (20 yrs) daughter of Ghulam Mustafa of Kudiya Pul Kishtwar committed suicide by consuming some poisonous stuff. As per reports, family members shifted her in District Hospital Kishtwar in critical condition last night, but the doctors failed to save her life since she had consumed heavy dose of poison. She breathed her last early morning on Sunday.
In another case of attempt to suicide, 30 year old Shafiqa Begum wife of Abdul Latief of Hasti Kishtwar also consumed some poisonous stuff and is presently undergoing treatment at Kishtwar hospital. Her condition is said to be stable. Police have taken the cognizance of both the cases and started its investigation.
