Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Oct 13: On the occasion of International Disaster Risk Reduction Day a rally was flagged-off by Qamar Ali Akhoon, Advisor to Chief Minister today. Despite rain and Sunday, hundreds of Civil Defence Volunteers, respectable citizens, Youth, Students and Special Children with disabilities, participated in the rally. The rally was organized by Civil Defence, Srinagar and the theme was "Living with Disasters and Disabilities". Present on the occasion were DIG, Civil Defence, HG & SDRF, Mubarak Ahmed Ganai, Shoukat Ahmed Beigh Special Secretary to Chief Minister, Secretary General Jammu & Kashmir Red Cross, Roma Wani, Executive Director Jammu & Kashmir Voluntary Health Association A M Mir, Joint Director Youth Services & Sports, Neelofar Amin, Coordinator Nehru Yuva Kendra G A Mir, Deputy Commandant SDRF 1st Bn, Deputy Chief Wardens, Mauzam Bakshi and Aamir Ali, Deputy Controller, Srinagar, Principals of various Colleges and Schools, President Chotay Taray, Divisional Wardens, Scouts, Volunteers from ITI Srinagar and students from various educational institutions.
