Jammu, Oct 14 : Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) today organized a Students' Conference wherein it elected the new body for its Jammu University (JU) unit.
Students of different departments participated in the conference which was held under the chairmanship of ABVP State Organizing Secretary Pawan Sharma and City Secretary Jammu Arun Dev Singh Jamwal. Ashwani Sharma will be the new President of JU unit of ABVP while Kuljeet Singh was chosen as Secretary. Bhavishya Sudan, Amit Kumar and Raman Choudhary are the new vice presidents while Jagpreet Kour, Naresh Kumar and Balvinder Singh will be the new Joint Secretaries of the unit Manmohan Sharma was elected as Cashier while Vishal Kumar will be the Press Secretary. Shakeel, Parmod, Archana, Riya, Ramzan, Koushal, Varun, Naseeb Singh, Gagan and Vijay were nominated as Executive Members. |
