SIT probing Kishtwar violence has lost its credibility, CBI probe only hope: BJP
Govt. must reveal the names of Kichloo's attackers

Kishtwar, Oct 23: Expressing great surprise and resentment towards the inquiry conducted by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the August 9 -10 Kishtwar and Padder clashes, the BJP Youth National executive member Sunil Sharma today said that SIT has lost his credibility as the main culprits and criminal elements involved behind the Kishtwar violence are rooming free, while the innocent and poor people's were lodged in jails and reiterated demand of CBI probe in Kishtwar violence.
In a press statement issued today, Sunil Sharma while citing the example of Ashish Kumar son of Subash Chander resident of Bhera Batta, said that the youth was innocently framed by the police in murder case. BJP leader stated that the said person was in Jammu on the day of violence and added that the party has video evidence of CCTV footage proving that the youth framed in murder case was in Jammu on the day of violence. He said that this is not the only case where SIT has framed innocent people and added that majority of the youths lodged in jails are innocent. He alleged that the main culprits were rooming free and enjoys the patronage of political bosses. He demanded an immediate release of all the innocent youths, beside demanded an appointment of DIG ranked officers as a head of SIT so that free and fear inquiry could be conducted. He also said that his party is stick to its demand of CBI probe in Kishtwar violence. He condemns the administration and police for their failure to prevent anti India rant during Eid procession. He said that anti national elements openly challenges the police and administration and rose anti India, pro freedom, pro Geelani and pro Taliban slogans outside temple at old Bazaar Kishtwar. "Police have though registered FIR No:200 at police station Kishtwar in connection with anti India rant during Eid procession, but no formal arrest has been made so far" said Sunil Sharma. He also slammed the Kishtwar administration for not releasing compensation in favour of the victims. Reacting to the news item published in "Early Times" on 22-10-2013 regarding attack on former MOS Home Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo inside Dak Banglow Kishtwar, Sunil Sharma said that government of Jammu and Kashmir must reveal the names of those persons involved in the said attack. He said that BJP has no personal enmity with Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo and added that being as local, people of Kishtwar pin down their hopes on him that he (Kichloo) will safe guard their lives and property as a minister.
