| Rahul visiting Jammu on Nov 7 | | | early times report
JAMMU, Oct 23 : All India Congress Committee (AICC) vice president Rahul Gandhi is visiting Jammu and Srinagar on November 6 and 7. Rahul Gandhi will address Panchayat conferences in both the cities.
Sources in the Congress said that programme of Rahul Gandhi's visit has almost finalized and official announcement in this regard would be made within a day or two.
While addressing a function at Jammu on October 21, Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief Saif-ud Din Soz had declared that Rahul Gandhi would address Panchayat conference at Jammu and Srinagar respectively.
The coming Panchacyat conferences would be a test for Shafiq Mir, who is chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Panchayat Conference and has recently joined Congress. Soz had publically announced in the function that Mir's capability would be tested in the coming Panchayat confereces. |
