Adulterated khoya ceased from Railway Station

Kathua, Oct 23: Unclaimed 180 Kg adulterated milk product (Khoya) was ceased by Railway Police at Govindsar Railway Station early in the morning at Kathua here today.
Soon after ceasing Khoya the team of Food and Safety Department led by Inspector Subash Raina and Designation Officer Rajan Kapoor reached at station and took the Khoya under its custody to proceed the further investigation in order to find the party which is responsible for bringing this material at Kathua.
As per the record the Khoya was packed from Muzafar Nagar, Uttar Pardesh to Kathua and was send through Shalimar train, but nobody was seen at Railway Station to receive this milk product which police took it in its custody for investigation, police official told.
The Food and Safety Officials told that the sample have been taken to laboratory test to confirm the purity level of Khoya. And the official also warned to all sweet shops owner not to use the adulterated Khoya in any milk product or any other sweets and if anybody found involved in any kind of adulteration he he will be dealt under law strictly.
