UDHAMPUR, Oct 23: CEO Udhampur has suspended two absentee Rehber-e- Taalims (ReTs) of GPS, Pakhlai after he paid surprise visit to different schools of Zone Jib. Firstly, he visited GPS Pakhlai and found school was closed and twoReTs namely Subash Chander and Kamlesh Devi, were absent. Both were placed under suspension with immediate effect with the direction to ZEO, Jib to frame charges against both of them and also to arrange a teacher from MS Manglian for the school in order to keep PS Pakhlai functional. CEO also visited G M S Manglian where he found two ReTs were present, two teachers were on leave, two other teachers were on leave without application while one Master was shown on duty to ZEO Jib. On enquiring, it was established that the master did not report to ZEO Jib. The pay of the three including two teachers and the master kept withheld for unauthorized absence from duty. ZEO jib will call for their explanation and report within week's time. CEO visited HS Pakhlai and found all the staff present except, head master Ratna Devi and Yash Paul, were on duty where as Master Rajesh Tickoo, Master Ashwani Kumar, teacher Vinita Sharma were on leave. When enquired, the arrival register revealed the Head Master generally remained on leave or on duty. CEO ordered to submit the leave account of Head Master within three days and also kept the pay of Ratna Devi with held. |
