Srinagar, Nov 1: Jammu and Kashmir High Court has stayed transfer orders of Executive Engineer (civil), SCD Srinagar Central division to Kolkata.
While staying the transfer order, the court also issued notice returnable within two weeks to respondents including Union of India through Principal Secretary to Government PWD New Delhi, DG central PWD Nirman Bahwan New Delhi, Deputy Director (admin) New Delhi and Chief Engineer central, PWD Satwari Jammu.
In the impugned order (no 141/2013 dated 28-10-2013), the petitioner was transferred to Kolkata and according the officer's counsel advocate Nissar Ahmad Bhat, his client has not completed two years of minimum posting at Srinagar.
Earlier, advocate Nissar said that his client was prematurely transferred from Patna to Srinagar.
