| State needs dedicated CM: Nirmal Kamal | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 4: "It is unfortunate that the J&K has Chief Minister like Omar Abdullah who still lacks mindset to govern the state with pro-people issues and gives confusing verdicts by repeatedly saying that J&K is not merged with India, removal of AFSPA and latest by saying that K-issue has political genesis not economic basis", says BJP State spokesperson Dr. Nirmal Kamal. According to press release, he further says that Omar Abdullah need to read the history in correct perspective and chronological order, analyse the events which took place in J&K state immediately after division of the country and he will find that most of the time his grandfather, father and now Omar himself have remained at the helm of powerful affairs and also that dynastic rule of NC could develop the state economy but no effort was made to convert the state into viable economic entity. Now giving such statements prove meaningless efforts only to remain dear to the people and win their sympathies to garner their votes in the coming elections. "Such a gimmickry further proves hollowness of his mind rather than a dynamism which could prove helpful for the state's economic development. People do require basic amenities of education, roads, power, employment and not the music infested with tones appealing Pakistan and supporters of Pakistan", he said. Dr. Nirmal Kamal further added people of J&K require a chief minister who is accessible to the common masses, understand their sentiments, requirements and aspirations and not ambitious opportunists catering only to the vested interest of his kiths and kins and not the down-trodden. |
