Jammu, Nov 4: State President of Nationalist Congress Party Thakur Randhir Singh today appointed Jaswant Singh Jamwal, a retired Station Master Indian railways resident of village Amala tehsil and district Kathua as district President Kathua with immediate effect. According to press release, Jamwal will also look after the work of National Front of Indian Trade Union (NFITU) as a Provincial Secretary duly recognized by the Ministry of Labour, Union government whose chief patron is Sharad Pawar Union Agriculture Minsiter. Thakur said that Jamwal's rich experience of 42 years as a Station Master in Railways serving Jammu, Punjab, Himachal, Delhi and UP would help not only the state NCP but also its labour wing NFITU. He will be assigned special duties from time to time by the state President. His joining is welcomed by all ranks of NCP. |
