Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 4: PoK Displaced Persons (DPs) Front today criticized state government for not conceding their long pending demands at press club Jammu. According to press release, DPs Front President Yudhvir Singh Chib said that we were waiting since 1947 for their grievances to be redressed which exceptional for the past 66 years and nothing has been done both by state as well as central governments. After that the members of Pok Front moved toward secretariat Jammu and shouted slogan against state and centre government. "The demands of DPs are enlistment of left out DPs not yet registered, Grant of Adequate Compensation, ownership rights for DPs of 1947, 65 and 1971(Non Camp) should be given ownership rights for landed property etc to DPs, Issue of ALC certificate to all DPs, reservations, backward status be given to all DPs, deficient land , land of displaced persons falling under border fencing ditches/mines, ex-gratia relief, formation of development board , to solve the issue before the election" said Yudhvir Singh. |
